Anne Betz has worked alongside her husband John since they opened their first family owned store in 1992. After managing the stores for many years she currently works in the corporate office assisting in all financial aspects of the business. She works closely with the managers to aid them in the financial end of running their individual stores.
Anne enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children and reading on the beach.
Liz Robertson is Executive Assistant and Controller with Betz & Associates. She has been with the Company for over 20 years. She oversees all financial and accounting aspects of the Company. Liz assists John Betz with all phases of the business including analysis of present and new projects as well as monitoring all administrative duties. She also monitors and assists all managers in all aspects of store operations.
Liz enjoys spending time with family, playing golf and tennis, doing crossword puzzles and reading.
Joan Martin is the Director of Guest Services with Betz and Associates. Joan joined the Team in 2007.
Joan’s role with the company is to ensure that every Guest that comes through the doors receives the Starbucks Experience. Joan’s relentless training and follow up with all members of the Team creates an atmosphere where every customer is WOWed during their visit.
After thirty years in the Retail business Joan has made many loyal friends that have become a second family. Joan’s interests include spending time with her Daughter, Son in law and Grandchildren. She also lives her interests and passion each and every day in the stores.
Michael Hickey is the Regional Manager for Northern New Jersey and New York.
Michael’s role with us began with the creation and opening of our Starbucks branded solution concept called Apple A Day Cafe. Michael now oversees all operations within Morristown Medical Center which is home to a Starbucks licensed store along with the three Apple A Day Cafes. He now is responsible for our newest Starbucks location as well which can be found in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Looking to the future, Michael will be adding our first venture into New York into his portfolio which is currently under construction at the Empire Outlets of Staten Island.
Michael’s journey with the Starbucks brand started back in July of 2000 where he began as a manager of company operated locations. In April of 2014, after 14 years on that side of the business, he chose to join our team here at Betz & Associates. He has been amazed at just how much can be accomplished when surrounded by such a passionate and supportive Team.
He is a Starbucks Coffee Master and shares his passion with Team members across his region. In his free time, Michael plays in a competitive dart league, enjoys playing poker and watching sports with friends. Michael is currently planning a wedding with his wonderful fiancé Danielle.
Milagros is the Regional Manager for South Jersey. Her role with the company is to ensure that all of the stores have the tools necessary to deliver Exceptional Experience to Our Guests.
Her experience in this business has provided her the ability to properly staff and train Team Members as well as assist with various Administrative duties required on a day to day basis.
Milagros came to us in 2010 as a barista. She proceeded to move up quickly through the ranks to Senior Manager of the Tropicana stores. During her seven years with the company, she has been instrumental in the development of the Team we have in South Jersey. Milagros enjoys watching movies, taking mini trips with her boyfriend and visiting her home country of Peru whenever she can.
